The worlds OLDEST person never dies.

The worlds youngest person is always being born.

Kindergarten (or first day of pre-school) happens every year.

Hayzoo Crisco…Ffolkes…why are these events always in the news???

be glad that nothing so horrendous happened that might push these trivial events from the limelight.
I thank God for slow news days.

And every year there is a new crop of parents who suddenly consider it *very important*, and a new crop of journalism grads to send off to cover it.

Easter Friday 193something (6 I think) the BBC cancelled its eveneing news broadcast, filling the time with some light music, because there was 'no news'. Compare that with todays 24hour news channels. "Coming up next – we speak to a media insider, asking him are there too many media insiders on news channels"

I don't see what the issue is here. If they cover what's really important then they are called out as biased and horribly Liberal, and if they cover happy stuff people scream about it being trivial. How can the Mainstream Media ever win?

It's not the world's oldest person, it's Amy Winehouse who never dies.
