I like James Purefoy, but I'm not sure he quite works for me as Solomon Kane. The rest of the cast should help, though. Allen |

Purefoy can play Kane, if he loses some weight (oh, it looks like he did). (hehe, my brain -- what brain? -- did a funny when I read the title: I instantly thought of a remake of King Solomon's Mines; I need to take a nap….) I could finally look at the trailer (interesting way of seeing a trailer; from a video done inside a movie theater). Looks very pulpy and over-the-top. Maybe I've seen too many movies. I am interested anyway because some of the Kane stories were actually better than the Conan stories…. |

If you look at their lips, it's clear that the movie wasn't filmed in Russian. But the Russian language does sound great. |
