Surprised there were no comments today. That was kind of a harsh episode last night.

Good, though, to see Jeff Kober and Adam Arkin and Henry Rollins join the story.

"Join in or get out!" Loved it.

I enjoyed it too Allen.

I stopped watching it last year, just didn't appeal, although I'm a big Ron Perlman fan.

I kind of got into it as they were all on demand while I was cleaning out our old house and had hours and days alone with the TV. I saw the return last night and will watch out of the sort of "watching a train wreck about to happen". I feel it is going to end bad as most stories along these lines have to.

I was more disappointed in Mad Men. When did Don Draper become a nice guy and not the guy who's life and lie were about to fall all apart? I mean who cares if the bimbo red head can play an accordion, The boss does bad Al Jolson in black face and the boy with the pedigree can dance the Charleston? What gives with that?

Keep in mind that the creator and producer, besides being Katey Sagal's husband, also produced "The Shield", which kept that same "This can't end well" feel going for three seasons.

Each day that we learn something new is a productive day.

I DVR'd it and haven't watched yet. I am a fan of the show. of course, I loved the Shield too. Tried to paint my OG bikers like the Son's.

Thanks,

John

SoA is not my cuppa, but I was fascinated with how different Katey Sagal looks made up for her role from what I've seen from TV ads. Lots of people seem to disagree with me, but I like her work.

I watched it last night and I am pretty excited about this series. I really liked The Shield and this season of SoA looks to be a good one.

Katey Sagal was almost enough of a reason to watch, but not quite.

I can't stand those shows.

You know that some, usually youth, will come to admire them.

Sons of Silence are a prime example of how there's a serious need to "cull the herd". That's why we have the degraded gene pool we have now. We give criminal more rights than their victims.

Those that prey outside society are desirables. Those who prey on society, when there's no real survival situation, need to be done away with.

I don't want to learn any details about them. Don't want to sympathize with them. They are scum and should be treated as such.

Why give them publicity? Isn't that what terrorists crave too?
