Nope. Sometimes the customer is a whiny, spoiled jerk who is trying to get something for nothing. I'd guess the better ratio is half the time the customer is right, and the other the retailer/service provider is right. |

No, sometimes the customer needs to be sent to their room without dinner! |

Then why was he trying to return a remote control airplane that we didn't sell? |

Depends on the customer. A profitable one is always right. One that you have to scratch to make any money on is probably not only wrong but better off with your competitor. |

Not always. Not every customer is one worth having either. Some are worth inflicting on your competition. |

When I was in retail, it was as a Security Manager. My customers were shoplifters, so they were not always right. However, I may be a bit prejudiced. |

I was told once that the customer may not always be right but they are always the customer. I have a friend who says that all the time. |

Then why was he trying to return a remote control airplane that we didn't sell? In that circumstance, he's not a customer— he's a crook, or he's confused. Assume the latter until you can determine the former. |

The customer is always right, but not everyone who walks through your door is a customer. |
