Furry skirting boards

I decided that this weekend I would decorate the study/hobby room.

I'd done most of the room and asked my wife to help me move the bookcase(still full of books/wargaming stuff) – it was too heavy so decided to leave it until I'd got time to empty it.

So 10 minutes later I decide I can manage to just move the bookcase enough on my own to paint the wall……Crash bang wallop and my glass jar full of static grass falls off the top shelf, smashes and sprinkles grass all over the newly painted skirting board……

A quick hoover and repaint and the damage was fixed.

We then went to friends – on returning I realised that the container (lidless) that I had put the rescued grass in earlier had slipped off my hobby table and sprinkled more grass on the freshly painted skirting board…..

Another repaint this morning has hidden the green bits but has left me with furry skirting boards….

Morale of story – A wargamers room should be camoflagued….

As my Priest tells me after confession: "Repaint and sin no more!" Sorry to hear of all the extra work. I hope everything else turned out OK.

How frustrating for you! But funny to the rest of us.
