I came across this oddity whilst debating/reminiscing about Space Hulk:

Whoah!
Never saw -that- before!
Where/when did that come from…?

Anyone have any more info on it?

Despite the #anB0yZ universal decry,
I thought that was actually kinda alright:
sure, the genestealers could use some CGI, but;
it's at least as good as anything on SyFy.

Apparently there were three of these, regularly shown at Games Day?
"Inquisitor"
"Hive Infestation"
and "Blood for the Blood God".

Wonder how hard it is to get copies?

{edit}
old news, I guess

For the 25th Anniversary Games Day, Games Workshop released (for limited sale) a short movie entitled Inquisitor. This move was created using clips and footage that was created as a pitch to G.W. for a movie deal. There were also trailers for two other films, "Hive Infestation" and "Blood for the Blood God". "Hive Infestation" pitted Space Wolf terminators against a genestealer cult infestation of a hive world. "Blood for the Blood God" was the second trailer released, and portrayed orks and Dark Angel marines fighting along with an inquisitor, much in the style of the Epic 40,000 video game cut scenes, but little information was given on this short film aside from a shot of a berserker of Khorne (all viewable on Youtube in four parts at reduced quality).

A friend of mine was involved in building the moulds for the Genestealers.

At the time I think there were plans to sell it to the BBC but it never came off.

I am suprised they never released it as a DVD through their own stores, surely it would make a good amount of money.

I am still holding out for "Warhammer 40k the Musical". :-)

Yep – I can see that one La Long Carabine – the 40K musical like Monty Python and the Holy Grail and the Knights of the Round Table scene!
