Dialed '9' for an outside line. Answered the phone 'professionally'. To my wife. Tried to 'lock out' the computer. |

I have, on more then one occasion, given my name, company, and company phone # while leaving phone messages for friends when I have called from home. |

I've had to catch myself halfway through a phone greeting for a *previous* employer while at the current one, but that was still at work

Farstar- people must wonder why there is sometimes an awkward pause when I pick up the phone- It's because 17 years at one place, 17 months at this, plus there was a lot more phone use with my previous job. |

Dialed 9 a few times Answered phone as if from work, and also given out the wrong number a few times. The laptop one doesnt get me, for some reason. One that does is more technical – selecting the wrong printer and printing out Army lists at work when I'm at home. The other way round produces a rush of printing I thought I'd lost on the home printer when I switch my laptop on in the evening to browse the itnernet or whatever. |

I once told a mom of one of my students that I loved her as I hung up the phone in much the same way I say it to my wife. Fortunately, she was a cool lady and a quick apology and explanation resulted in laughter. |

I pull out my office key to get into my house and visa versa I'll admit to pointing my car keys at my front door and pressing the button, expecting it to unlock somehow. If I'm really unlucky this results in leaving the car unlocked overnight. |
