From Flower to Sapling?

Can a plastic flower become a wargaming shrub? Or maybe a small tree?

If there is a rant, then this is it. going back to work after at least a week of vacation. This a true problem… I need more vacation.

I oftimes dread going on vacation simply because of the amount of work people will dump on my desk while I am gone.

I have plenty of vacation. I just need time to take it. My boss found my last absence a bit traumatic.

Vacation time is part of your compensation for doing your job.

Do you give your boss part of your salary back, because he finds paying you "a bit traumatic"?

My standing joke is that after a vacation I need to re-read the elevator operator's manual.

I need a holiday (I'm British, we don't have vacations) and I'm still on holiday!

I dreaded coming back as I knew there would still be nothing to do. And lo I'm now in the office and have nothing to do… other than catch up on 2 weeks worth of TMP threads.

Vacations are like crack cocaine. Once you go on one, you have an insatiable desire for more time off.

Fortunately, he works for people who realize that if they do *not* let me have it, they have to pay me out when I quit.
