Having spent nearly a week dining on fine hospital food, my diet devolved into trips to McDonalds and Pop Tarts for breakfast and snacks. In the morning, I'm rather partial to Strawberry or Cherry. While for the rest of the day, Chocolate Fudge is the best. What do you think?

Jay Arnold09 Aug 2009 11:40 p.m. PST

Cinnamon and brown sugar frosted. Nigh impossible to get in A-stan. The chow hall only gets blueberry frosted and strawberry frosted. They're ok, but nowhere near my favorites.

OK. Who said Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez? laugh

Seriously, I haven't eaten Pop Tarts in decades, but when I did, it was always the cinnamon and brown sugar frosted flavor, like Jay. Always steered clear of the fruit flavors, as I didn't know any better as a kid.

Today, it's just a bowl of sticks and twigs in cold skim milk, sometimes with some buttered toast. I'm happy. grin

I've tried them once and have no desire to try again.

I thought this was going to be a Britney or Christina question….

We don't really do them over here, so no opinion.

cfuzwuz10 Aug 2009 3:56 a.m. PST

Nasty, vile things! And I love sweets.

FusilierDan10 Aug 2009 4:16 a.m. PST

Cinnamon and Brown Sugar for me.

Klebert L Hall10 Aug 2009 4:21 a.m. PST

Another vote for the frosted cinnamon/brown sugar. Generally don't bother to toast them, on the rare occasions I partake.

I miss Grape. They don't make it anymore or at least very often from what I can tell.

Ed Mohrmann10 Aug 2009 5:05 a.m. PST

My wife won't allow them in the house. She's a nurse.

Streitax10 Aug 2009 5:29 a.m. PST

Too sweet for me.

Neotacha10 Aug 2009 5:45 a.m. PST

They tend to be too sweet, so when I do get them, I prefer the unfrosted flavors.

But honestly I prefer the cheese flavored toaster strudels to pop tarts.

My answer to "What is your favorite…" is always:
1) Cheddar
2) Bacon
3) Raspberry.

Do any of the above apply?

Stosstruppen10 Aug 2009 6:29 a.m. PST

Cherry

Tommy2010 Aug 2009 7:51 a.m. PST

Cherry, although I can't always find them, so often substitute Strawberry or Blueberry.

GoodBye10 Aug 2009 7:51 a.m. PST

Cinnamon and brown sugar frosted.

Agreed, it's the only flavor I'll eat.

Cinnamon, Choclate, Cherry

Frosted and toasted

OldGrenadier at work10 Aug 2009 9:33 a.m. PST

Cinnamon and brown sugar, NOT frosted. Very rare and hard to get.

Mathion10 Aug 2009 9:41 a.m. PST

s'mores…
…I'm an addict.

Matt

lugal hdan10 Aug 2009 9:41 a.m. PST

Frosted Strawberry.
Cinnamon&Brown Sugar, Frosted is a close second.

ArchiducCharles10 Aug 2009 10:10 a.m. PST

The girlfriend is like Matt; addicted to s'mores.

And I really mean addicted; she gets that look in her eyes when the box is almost empty!

Farstar10 Aug 2009 11:57 a.m. PST

"Might as well face it, she's addicted to s'mores."

I prefer blueberry.

The ones that stay in the store well away from me!

That being said I would eat them if they were around-- the munchies are a terrible thing! 8)=

Cinnamon and brown sugar, frosted or unfrosted
fruit flavors, unfrosted (do they still make them?)

Cincinnatus10 Aug 2009 5:25 p.m. PST

Currently chocolate chip but also ate a lot of s'mores. Mostly because the pastry part is not the plain crust but either graham cracker or cookie dough like stuff. It makes a difference if you aren't toasting them.

BW195910 Aug 2009 7:30 p.m. PST

Choclate & Cherry, frosted but not toasted

Lord Hypnogogue10 Aug 2009 7:32 p.m. PST

Cinnamon and Brown Sugar, followed closely by S'mores.

DJCoaltrain10 Aug 2009 9:51 p.m. PST

Cinnamon and Brown Sugar
Strawberry

The rest I take to my local hobby shop where the gamers reside, the ones who will eat everything but their minis.

Delthos11 Aug 2009 6:26 a.m. PST

Frosted Cinnamon and Brown Sugar, with an occasional Frosted Strawberry toasted and then spread some butter on top. Mmmm mmmm.

vdal181212 Aug 2009 10:36 a.m. PST

I like Strawberry and Chocolate. Although I see you have some flavours I've never seen here in Canada.

Personal logo Der Alte Fritz Supporting Member of TMP24 Aug 2009 9:36 a.m. PST

I haven't actually toasted a Pop Tart in years. They are starting to extend the line into other flavors.

Could bacon flavored Pop Tarts be next?
