Ok, the only alcoholic beverage I'll voluntarily drink is Jägermeister, don't care for beer or vine never have, I could in the old days when I was partying drink rum and coke or vodka and coke, but now I'll only drink Jägermeister, the problem is that it cost a silly REALLY silly amount of money in Norway, 456kr pr. liter infact or €52.00 EUR or $74 USD But my parents got home today and had stopped spent a day over the Danish border in Germany and brought back a liter of Jägermeister, price? €10.00 EUR or less then 1/5th of the Norwegian price.

Used to drink it a lot when I started drinking, a very long time ago.

Not bad at all, I agree, though I haven't touched it in decades.

Keep it in the freezer. Great for drinking games too! (or drinks during games)

You do know that it's cough syrup, right? I believe the Germans call it "liver glue". I do have a small bottle of it in my "medicine" cabinet however.

When I caroused in bars more often, years ago, I never drank Jager before midnight; it made my mood too introspective. My introduction to the stuff was a Rumplemintz promotion night at my usual hangout & my 1st taste was in a drink called--I kid you not--"Dead Nazi from Hell" which was a shot of Jager with a shot of Rumplemintz floated on top, parfait style.

In college, half a bottle of Jag was my "pre-game warmup". Also quite good to have on hand when doing shots with sorority girls, although I discovered that Bärenjäger is an even better social lubricant for that demographic.

I got hooked on it while in Germany 20 years ago. Good stuff!

Ouch, that's a nasty import tariff.

Horrible, horrible stuff, but it is one of those things that one either loves or absolutely hates. Good on you if you love it, and even better that you got a deal on it!

Mix it with Monster energy drink. Suprisingly good

Try green Nyquil on the rocks. Same thing, costs a lot less.
