Well, here I am in Denver on the return from the Great East Coast College Hunt TMP link My son and I have a two-hour layover that was originally three hours. Our flight was delayed 45 minutes because a critical valve in the center fuel tank wouldn't open so they couldn't load avgas. After they beat it into submission, we took off and made pretty good time. But, once on the ground, we had to wait as our destination gate was blocked by an airliner they had just pushed back – but had generated a mechanical failure. Good thing DIA has free internet. Since United cut back on ball pein hammers for all their ground crew, this is what you can expect. Did you all have to get out and push? |
