Hey all, I will be travelling to Barcelona Spain in the near future and was wondering what medieval sites are worth taking a look at in the area. I plan to take a train or some other mode of transport to Carcassonne while in the area and maybe a few other sites from the Albigensian Crusades. What else is in the area? (napoleonic history what be cool also)

Thanks!

I haven't been to Barcelona in years, but there's a Gothic neighborhood full of old buildings.

My favorite medieval town in Spain is Toledo. It's closer to Madrid. It's an amazing walled city. The day I went they had a medieval festival, which made it all the more colorful.
