This video may have been posted before, but I came across it in my "Sent" mail and thought it was really cool. I would imagine this is how Daredevil would get around if he were real (minus the billy club, mind you)…

Prett amazing and crazy stuff. I kept waiting for one of his legs to break. It looks like he lives in a town with a ton of abandoned industrial buildings.

I have seen Asian kids in Hong Kong do this as a sport. Some of the techniques they use we adapted to urban warfare training such as spider falls and other team climbing tactics.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour

Parkour (sometimes also abbreviated to PK) or l'art du déplacement[1] (English: the art of movement) is a discipline that appeared first in France, more similar to a martial art than to a sport, focused on moving from one point to another as smoothly, efficiently and quickly as possible using the abilities of the human body. It is built on the philosophical premise that any obstacle, physical or mental, can be surpassed.

Yeah, Le Parkour/Free Running is pretty sweet. If I was 10 years younger I think I'd be spending a lot of time and energy to get into the sport… but at 34 I just don't think I'm spry enough anymore.

It's amazing stuff to watch!

The Madagascar Chase scenes in the newer Casino Royal were done by one of the sport's originators.

They had a guy on Time Warp do this stuff, and they filmed him in super slow-mo. It was amazing to watch.

alxbates, i agree with you. I love parkour, but although I am in good form, i am 36 years old, and you need not only a teen body to do parkour, but teen fearless, too

(I know, I'll just go to the corner and do my time out…)
