He'd better hope no one comes to collect on this. "I do know the moon landings were faked," said crusading filmmaker Bart Sibrel, whose aggressive interview tactics once provoked Aldrin to punch him in the face. "I'd bet my life on it." link If he's prepared to bet his life, he got off real lightly with just a punch in the face. I have to admit, I just don't get loony conspiracy theorists. |

picture It was totally faked. Look at the cat in the picture. It isn't wearing a helmet. If it were on the moon it would have to wear a helmet because you can't breath on the moon without a helmet. |

Maybe the cat is holding its breath? |

Maybe it's a moon-cat, specially adapted to its lunar habitat. The moon's made of cheese, right? So over the millennia some mice are bound to have found their way up there to get at it somehow, and the cats would've chased after them. Obviously they must have evolved to survive without helmets, otherwise they'd all be dead and couldn't be walking around in that photo. QED. Honestly, Pictors, you just need to think these things through a little more thoroughly before making wild claims like that. |

I hadn't thought about the cat holding it's breath. |

It wasn't faked, the moon isn't made of cheese, and that's a Moonian in a cat suit. |

For several reasons, Buzz Aldrin is a hero of mine. |

That's not the moon at all, it's the world's biggest litter box and the cleaning crew has just shown up to start their work day. Proof that cats are our masters, and humans are their minions. |

MythBusters did a great special dedicated to the moon landing myths, I thought they did a great job debunking all of them. |

I'm surprised no one superimposed some "lolcat" text on the picture such as "I can haz moon rock?" |

I think NASA should take him up on his bet and put him on the next moon probe. Of course, he won't need a suit and he can take his cell phone to report in. If he doesn't trust NASA, maybe the Chinese? Wyatt |
