Another bit of trivia is that after their return there were female technicians at NASA that deliberately contaminated themselves with moon dust so they would be put into quarantine with the three astronauts.

I'll always remember my family finally getting a color TV, only to watch all 3 chanels showing the bw pictures of the moon landing, where most of the time you couldn't even make out what was happening.
