Flame grilled Filet

Leaf lettuce salad
Benzinger Cabernet Sauvignon

Light, tasty and a really nice bottle to finish enjoying later.

I've got a side of ribs, a couple pounds of chicken, a pile of wings and some salmon in the smoker. We'll enjoy some of that in a little bit with some greens and cheesy corn (a local specialty). Extras will go in the freezer for later.

Cheese and corn are two wonderful foods, I will have to look up a recipe.
Pulled pork here, nothing exciting.

Yam waffles. Now that sounds interesting. Is there a recipe afoot?

We had baked chicken, squash casserole, brocolli casserole, and Death-by-Chocolate cake for my sis-in-law's birthday. Home-made hot roast beef sandiches for supper (dinner? evening meal?).

A pedestrian meal, since the day was spent (and money was
spent !) at the auction (wife) and in installing and
extending 'phone lines.

Cheese ravioli, a reasonable home-made marinara (mostly
done Saturday, since it takes a while), a red/white/green
salad with a home-made vinaigrette, bottled Ranch (for
our daughter), a decent Merlot and ice cream !
