Visual pollution aside, the path those took to get there makes their presence on the shoreline *far* more disgusting than their original use does.

You should have been in Cheltenham (and other towns/cities) in 2007. Raw sewage was being dumped on people's gardens and, for the truely unfortunate, in their houses due to the drains backing up.

I realize a sewage treatment plant isn't a Honda, but 15+ months to fix it? Ouch…. err, eewwwwwwww.
