I got called in for jury duty today. I was actually willing/able to serve this time around. The charge is premeditated attempted murder with a firearm enhancement. Ok, no problem. Then the defendant's attorney starts posing hypotheticals to weed out juror bias. That had to be the most rambling "what if" since someone asked the question about what would have happened if Hitler had married Eva Braun in '35 and decided that the SS needed Napoleonic style lacing and facing on their uniforms. It had to do (eventually) with GTA – Grand Theft Avocado. Any enthusiasm I had for doing my civic duty has been squashed like a dropped bowl of guacamole. Wyatt |

Its not quite over, but there wasn't any further mention of guacamole. Now I'm waiting to see if I'm needed in another court. NYCJadie and Smokey have my deepest sympathies for having to deal with this on a daily basis. Wyatt |

SS needed Napoleonic style lacing and facing on their uniforms. this is a mute argument, cause they would have to prussian post 1806 uniforms. there glad I could help the legal dept |
