Let me start by saying, I'm not a cat person. I'm allergic and in general, don't care much for them. About 9 years ago, Weebles came to join our little family when a co-worker of my Father-in-law had lost a family member and had to find a place for her cats. She had no problem finding homes for all except one cantankerous, obese, anti-social feline named Weebles. My wife, being the softy that she is, couldn't refuse and took her in. For reasons unknown, this cat would howl, hiss, and snarl at everyone except me. She would crawl into my lap, demanding attention while spurning other's attempts at affection. Any food items left unattended, hell, even items being eating, were subject to her thievery. I've seen her make off with an entire pork chop or chicken breast! Weebles hadn't been well lately. In fact, her health had been declining over the last month or so. Eventually, she stopped taking any food or water. She soon became unable to walk or even stand on her own. Today marks the passing of the greatest kitty I ever knew. Bye Weebs

I'm sorry for your loss. I'm not a cat person, but have to admit that there are some great charactars out thee. One example is Speedy, our neighbor's tom, who for the past 9 years has been trying to convince us that our house also really is his. |

So sorry. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved cat. Prayers sent for both you and Weebles. |

I'm allergic [
.] For reasons unknown, this cat would howl, hiss, and snarl at everyone except me. Nope. Cats can sense allergies and enjoy them. |

So sorry that you've lost her, but what a life she's had with you – your memories of her are always going to be entertaining. |

Sorry for your loss. It's a shame cats and dogs only live 10+ years, wouldn't it be great if they lived for 50 years, that way you would have a friend for life |

So sorry to hear about Weebles. It hurts to lose even the ones we love reluctantly. And the rogues and others with very strong personalities seem to leave a bigger hole. But she had a good run with you and her previous owner. |

Many cats engage in missionary work. Weebles was trying to convert you to the right-thinking pro-cat faction. Sorry to hear about her passing. One of our cats has started sleeping in the mop bucket. How can anyone not like cats, the crazy little psychos? |

My condolences to you for Weebles, Lord Hypnogogue. Please take comfort in the fact that you and your family helped extend her life, instead of her living in uncertainty in a shelter, or worse, roaming the streets. |

Very sorry for your loss. I've had my Leto for 8 years now, and I can only imagine how awful losing Weebles must be for you. |

Sorry about your cat, it only takes one special kitty to turn a human into a cat lover, and it sounds like Weebles was your personal liaison officer to the feline world. I lost a kitty this year, he was a buddy for 17 years. RIP Weebles. |
