I'm driving my wife to the Cleveland Marathon, and will be hanging out for about four hours. Any suggestions for where a gamer might go? I don't often get to a big city, so I'd like to do some shopping, et al. |

And why the deadline? Is the target going somewhere? |

If it's open the submarine (USS Cod) by the Rock and Roll hall of fame is interesting. You still have to enter and leave by the original hatchways so be prepared to clamber about. There is also the afore mentioned hall, it's alright, but overpriced for the entry fee. Also, there is a Great Lakes steamer in the same area. I don't know if it's open for tours yet or not till after Memorial day. The Cleveland Zoo is supposed to be a good one, but I haven't been there for 20+ years so can't vouch. Actually if you google "Cleveland tourism" there is a list of these and more. Of course you could drive to Pittsburgh, spend 2 hours and drive back to pick up your wife. |

Totally agree about going to see the USS Cod (WWII Gato class) -- fantastic to walk through the whole boat. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is nearby as well as well as the Great Lake Ore freighter. If you want to spend time browsing through a fantastic library, head down to the Cleveland Library at 325 Superior Ave -- it's huge. Plenty of works to review. |

So, no stading at some point in the race to look for her and cheer her on? |

Dammit, what's this totally responsible, thoughtful suggestion doing here? |
