One of the poli-sci instructors at our college would like to incorporate some gaming aspects in his US Govt class. I am helping him identify potential games for this project however it has been years (maybe decades) since I have been into computer gaming. We are looking for a game that allows the students to basically build their society/nation along with all the political and economic decisions. Also important is the games ability to allow the students to operate and interact only within their own group. Since participation in the game will be graded the instructor would like to have a closed shop so to speak So does anyone have any recommendations of a game that might meet these requirements? Of course we prefer free and web based but if you know of a software package that could be loaded onto one of our servers we would be interested in that as well. Thanks in advance. |

I played for a little while a couple of years ago. I think the National Decsion game (like they run at HMGS cons) might be more valuable |

I've played Nationstates for over 5 years now. I think it would be to basic for your needs, Nationstats 2 might be better. I also played cybernation but there is no way of only doing a snall group, anybody can make war on you, So I recomend nationstats 2, there you can make your own little aliance with only the group you want, then you can keep to your self |
