Streitax, I agree that it is a shame to stop doing something we are so obviously good at, but my house is full, my car is full, my bank account is empty & our best reproductive years are behind us. My wife now wants to concentrate on her career (just spent 4 years studying then got positive test on 2nd day of first permanent social work job!!!) Besides, when 2 of your 3 kids are complete accidents (& one-shots to boot) it is clear that my gonads are dangerous & have to be stopped.
Our midwife was telling us on her last home visit she once went off shift at 2030, found a woman parked up just outside the hospital with her feet on the dashboard, & bemused her colleagues by walking back into work at 2035 carrying a 9 lb baby
Noah's brother Josh is already very fond of 'little men' & Daddy's little men' have to be carefully guarded from him, so looks like a wargamer in the making
