At Yankee Dollar (a local $1 USD store), they are selling a hardback book that is an introduction to firearms. It is the large print edition. I'm not sure we should be introducing firearms to those with poor vision

Same here. Within 18 inches, it starts to get blurry, Out to a mile or 2 things are clear. |

Besides 'Don't shoot till you can see the whites of their eyes' was musket era advice. Now we have optics and high velocity projectiles. And depending on target you just shoot for 'center of mass.' |
