I just finished reading "Day by Day Armageddon" by J. L. Bourne. Good story line of trying to find food, ammo and staying alive with the world overrun with zombies.

Much better than that piece of junk called "Monster Island". Avoid that book like the zombie plague.

Thanks for the heads-up!

I almost bought "Monster Island" from Amazon last week. It's really that bad?

I agree – Day by Day Armageddon is one of the best zombie novels I've read. One of the best post-apoc/fall of man themed novels I've read, for that matter.

day by day has a long history among z book fans . it was indie published and on free on the internet when first released , now you can still get first few chapters i think . became a cult classic with copy's going for 50 bux or more on ebay .then republished .

monster island was okay i think book 2 was better , then book 3 got wierd .

on amazon there are lots of indie z books try the morningstar saga that was a good read by z.a. reicht ( i swear that has to be a pen name)

Just ordered Day By Day – neither of the local bookstores had it. Also ordered Pride and Prejudice and Zombies for 'Tacha.
