They are adorable, and POTUS and FLOTUS made a good decision. My sister in law and brother breed them, by the way, and if you want to imitate Himself, I can put you in touch with them. No one can visit Wasapamani Kennels and leave without a black bundle of fur, particularly if they have kids in the car. |

President Of The United States First Lady Of The United States My wife is trying to break me down about having a dog, and has been putting forward the water dog. Says it's hypo-allergenic and doesn't shed? eh. My daughter already got me for a cat, this doesn't look good for me

I think the Prez and First Lady breed themselves. Oh, that didn't sound quite right

hehe, less painful too, to be sure! I'm one of those apparently rare people who have never had a pet and, to my recollection, have never wanted a pet. When I was younger, I had horrible allergies to dogs and cats – which made it a moot point – but seem to have grown out of them. My wife's family had always had dogs, so she has been after one since we moved in together. Two years ago, my then 3 y.o. daughter hit me with the 'daddy eyes' and conveniently my wife's friend let us have a kitten from a new litter a month later. I still suspect it was a set-up, but oh well. Now, my son, with definite prodding from my wife – he is 3 as well, hmm – is asking about getting a dog. Now I am realistic enough to know I will probably lose this battle as well, but
I can't give up yet! I am not anti-pet, but it just seems to me to be an unnecessary addition to the household 'chore chart'. |
