Anybody played this yet? How is the online team work capabilities?

Thanks!

Not yet, but if it's anything like RE4, it's going to be awesome!

The 'shoot OR move' mechanic seems interesting, from playing the demo.

I've never played any of the other RE games, so this is coming from someone with no experience with the story. I tried the demo on the 360, and was very unimpressed.

Here are my thoughts.

It's pretty. Nice graphics.
The controls are clunky.
The PC's move like they are the zombies.
You can't shoot and walk at the same time.
It takes 3-5 shots in the head to drop a zombie, and you get very little ammo.
In one player mode your partner is moronic.

Now it could be many of these things are normal for the RE series, I can't say. What I CAN say is I won't be buying it. I'd rather play Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass Effect, or even pull HALO 1 or 2 out of storage than this clunker.

I haven't played it yet, but my pal is addicted to it… been playing it non-stop.
I was watching him go through some zombie-filled African slum and it was pretty intense.

While I think the game mechanics of earlier RE games were ok but not great, you play RE for the atmosphere and the story, not for the shooting/games mechanics. RE has nothing in common with the likes of Halo, Gears of War and cie. It's not a shooter game. It's an adventure/horror game.

RE games seem a lot more focused on combat than stuff like Silent Hill/Clock Tower/Fatal Frame… the protagonists seem to always be para-military types or police.

Well, I love the Resident Evil series, its just I was thinking which should I spend my coin on.

RE5, or another order to Scale Creep…

decisions, decisions, decisions…beer

Wait 6 months or a little more, and RE5 will be half the current price.

Can you say the same about Scale Creep stuff?
