Hi can you guys tell me if this is a real auction? But A warning, don't click on the links (yet) auction if someone could search for it, text would include something like "Sookie Stackhouse" "True Blood" "Name a Character" "Charlaine Harris" the page link came up on a message board I go to. I wanted to put a watch on it to see what it went for, but I couldn't see the link to "watch this" so I went to auction and tried to do a search on relevant details. Nothing comes up. I'm doing a worldwide search and searching including title and description. Now either something funny is going on, which is why I said don't click links, or ebay is doing something to stop people in Australia from searching on all worldwide items (which I have thought for a while, but was thinking I was just paranoid). I'm confused, curious to know whats up, and if it isn't real, I want to warn the people on the message board. any help would be appreciated Mrs P |

Should add, I did this search by searching for the auction number using the ebay bay search facility on ebay itself. The pre-approved requirement suggests that it may be the people who put the item up restricted access – I once tried to bid on 'US only' item – after contacting the seller – and ebay wouldn't accept my bid. |

It's one of those strange ones where the 'watch this item' link is down the page – roughly around the bottom of the photo. |

From here, "Watch this item" is in the normal place. That's one scary photo, though. The pre-approval for bidding kicked in when the auction went over $1000; there's a note partway down the page that explains it. By the way, Mrs. P., your first link goes to a seller listing--for the American Heart Associaiton--Greater Southeast Affiliate--with three auctions listed: the "Name a Character" auciton plus two autographed guitars.
