My wife is going to go back to NYC – actually JFK – to babysit some machinery at the end of the month. I can tag along, but I don't want to spend two days travel just to sit at hotel and type. I suppose I could go annoy NYCJadie again, but that's usually good for a day at most. THe game shop on 35th (I think) would probably tire of me gawking after a few hours. And, going to the comic shop on 34th is likely to be prohibitively expensive. Suggestions? Wyatt |

Which museums have you missed? |

Get stoned and go see "Laser Floyd" at the Planeterium

I think that I hit all the big ones (or at least the ones I wanted to see) when I was in NYC in April. I even managed to get up to the Cloisters after missing it on two previous trips. Let's see; Natural History Museum Cloisters Met Guggenheim MOMA There were a couple of others that escape me, so I think the museum option has been exhausted (and I like museums). Wyatt |

You might consider eating your way through Queens. There's Jackson Heights (Little India), Astoria (Little Greece), Forest Hills (Little Ireland) and in between you can get everything from Afghani to Zimbabwean. I'm partial to Ethiopian, myself. |

You can try to Bronx zoo. Or take the Ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. |

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten to mention that I finally completed the list of "obviously touristy" stuff this last trip with Liberty and Ellis islands. Went back to the UN after some 20 years. I haven't done the Planetarium, but since I don't like to get hammered, the show would have to stand on its own. A different ethnic cuisine each evening might be nice. I've already sampled Little Italy and Chinatown – and the Indian place you treated me to in April was very nice. Looks like I may have to take a pass as I can work more efficiently from home. Wyatt |

Well, you can stay sober and go to the "regular" show at the Planeterium

Have you been on the sub and the aircraft carrier? I enjoyed the boat trip around Manhatten island as well. |

Good Call. The refrurbished Intrepid is back

My wife just reminded me that the Intrepid is back. I haven't been there since the 1980's so that's on my schedule. I may hop an Amtrak down to Philly to visit a friend. Wyatt |
