A Good-Looking Army in a Reasonable Amount of Time

Painting a wargaming army is a completely different beast from painting a single miniature for display.

Following Allens answer re the "Great Bawl of China" what other paronomasia can we come up with (checking my understanding of how this works).

Would you like a little anacoenosis with that?

Is that a rhetorical question Allen?

I come here for the big words, skillfully used.
I used to think that William F Buckley just made them up, but now I am not so sure.

William F. Buckley was a properly educated man, and was not ashamed to show it. Although my political views have matured from when I first admired him, my respect for both his mind and his pen remain.

There's a reason the ancients (by which I mean our grandparents) learned logic and rhetoric. Effective communications are a cornerstone of human interaction. To attempt to communicate without basic training in the fundamentals makes as much sense as a plumber going out on a call without any tools. Recent political interviews and debates bear depressing witness to that truism.

Maybe the homeowner has tools he can borrow. Or he'll see what he needs first so that he doesn't have to haul everything over and not need it.
