Some friends of mine and I are planning a trip to the Confederate prison site, along with our boys. Our route is down I-75 from Chattanooga, through Atlanta.
We'll spend most of the day in Andersonville, but we'd be interested in any other good Civil War "things to do" in and around the Atlanta area, or anything else which might appeal to some 10-13 year-old-boys and their 40+ fathers (which probably isn't all that different…).

Any suggestions?

Isn't Andersonville home to the National POW museum? If so that might also be a very educational stop.
