The Reverend Dr. Lori and I are off to Santa fe and Taos via that place I can't spell next week. It's our 25th anniversary trip.

Obviously it's sightseeing, slightly geriatric hiking and Pueblo stuff for me, Georgia O'Keefe and galleries for her. But are there game stores or decent book shops I should look for? Any other things I ought to watch out for?

Therre once was Wargames Wesr in central Avenue in Albuquerque but that was ages ago, not sure if they're still kicking. I was there in the earky 80s.

The two best game stores in the area are Active Imagination in Albuquerque and The Inquisitive in Rio Rancho, but neither one has much to recommend it over any other generic FLGS. Active Imagination does have the nice benefit of being next door to the best and largest used book store in the area, Page One Too.

For sightseeing and geriatric hiking, I would strongly recommend Tent Rocks, about half way between ABQ and Santa Fe. You probably already know about Bandelier and the peublo ruins up there, but if not I'd look into those.

In Santa Fe, you can't beat Tia Sophia's for breakfast burritos. The Shed has some very good posole, but you'll need to ask for extra red chile on the side.

Oh, and congratulations on your anniversary!

My brother still lives there. In practice, nothing! They will be puzzled by a West Midlands accent, though!
