Chlamydia was the most frequently reported STI last year, at a rate of 238 people per 100,000, up from 57 in 1998.

What in hell is "chlamydia?" Never heard of that one.

Koalas suffer from chlamydia. It may cause their extinction.

Many people with Chlamydia exhibit no symptoms of infection. Between half and three-quarters of all women who have chlamydia have no symptoms and do not know that they are infected. If untreated, chlamydial infections can cause serious reproductive and other health problems with both short-term and long-term consequences.
It can also affect your eyes badly.
