Heroscape: Road to the Forgotten Forest

It's a terrain expansion for Heroscape, but will non-Heroscape gamers be attracted by the trees?

AARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…..

I have been dealing with County Councils, District Councils, and Town Councils. None of them can tell me which of them owns a bit of land that we're sure is Council owned. They all say the others own it. I'm fairly certain that if we went ahead with the planned community garden on the site without their permission, we'd be in trouble sharpish.

So is there a way that I can find out who owns a small bit Exmouth?

Cheers…..

Hmm, if you set up on it maybe you can claim ownership? Who collects the taxes? I'm sure THEY know who owns it

In the U.S., I call a broker. They have published land maps that are pretty up-to-date on property ownership and it's months faster than dealing with officials.

You'd think so. Gets a bit tricky without a postcode or nearby building it seems….

If it hasn't changed hands recently (last 20 years) or had anything built, it could be unregistered (not unowned) in which case the Land Registry won't help. Ultimately, if there is no owner, it belongs to the Crown.

Think they are a private organisation, but landsearch.net offers a digital map search if you don't have a postcode or address.

If they all claim it is owned by someone else, and you have it in writing from them all, why not try registering it yourselves with the Land Registry? I suspect noone could legally challenge it!

Though of course you would still need planning permission for change of use of the land – though planning permission does not depend on ownership anyway.

The USA owns the UK.

This was established in 1812, and the UK has proven to be one of our most "troubled" possesions.
