You know, it really takes all kinds: freegan.info In my day, we had a different term for Voluntary Joblessness it was called BEING A BUM. This is too much really: freegans are able to greatly reduce or altogether eliminate the need to constantly be employed. We can instead devote our time to caring for our families, volunteering in our communities, and joining activist groups to fight the practices of the corporations It's like a joke inside of a joke. I mean, what could be better than working for a non profit and raising awareness? |

Watch it, buddy. You might hurt their self esteem. |

I can only hope that whoever wrote that had trouble keeping a straight face. |

They chose "freegan" because someone already owned "deadbeat.com"

So you eliminate your participation in "the system" by picking through the trash to find what you need? Without "the system" there is no trash or freebies or condemned houses to crash in, but never mind that, it seems like this is a way to not hold a job with an evil corporation and instead pick through leftovers. Sounds like a self righteous declaration of being a bum. |

A bum with internet access and enough money to pay for a website. Hmmmmmm, I'd heard panhandling was profitable. |

For additional definitions of freeganism, click freegan.info/?page=whatis . Hehe, "Dumpster Diving". This whole page has to be some kind of subtle joke. |

Listen, children. You can hear the envious mutterings of the machine's drone slaves. Allen |

Shrug. If they want to live on my leftovers, fine. I don't have a dog. Personally, I like getting fresh stuff from that big building stuffed with fresh stuff, and the rest of the choices that come with a regular paycheque. |

Though yeah, I would like more free time. The wage-slave's paradox. When i got money, I 'aint got time, and when I got time I 'aint got money. Again with the shrug. My own damn fault for not being obscenely rich by now. |

Yeah, they're bums. Not producing is actually evil, it destroys you, it doesn't benefit anyone else. And I think it might be tough to call someone who paints toy soldiers for a living a muttering drone slave. |
| Whatisitgood4atwork | 03 Jun 2008 9:12 p.m. PST |
Depends, do you mutter as you paint? Does singing along with the stereo count as muttering? |

Some bums make more money begging and busking than many mid-level suits. |
| Mr Elmo | 04 Jun 2008 6:07 a.m. PST |
Some bums make more money begging Well, some prostitutes make good money too I suppose. It's like, career limbo
How low can you go? |
| Pictors Studio | 04 Jun 2008 6:38 a.m. PST |
"Some bums *make* more money begging" If you look, you'll find that words have an exact definition. Bums don't *make* money at all. They get money, they steal money sometimes probably, but they certainly don't make it. |

This'll be fun to watch
The way they have defamed several large corporations by altering their logos will have them hating "the suits" even more |

I give money to buskers, since they entertain me with their music. And performing in public seems like work to me. Beggars only get my coins if they manage to amuse me. One fellow did by stating he was raising funds for research into alcoholism. I gave him money for his honesty. I decided many years back not to give money to beggars younger than me. That pool keeps shrinking. |
