Just received 20 Foundry Great Orc mercenaries + assorted rammage. $20.50 USD + shipping. Yes, there's duplication, but so what? I love these guys.

On top of that, I didn't win an auction for a Ral Partha giant squid, but the guy had another and sent me a second chance offer. It, too, will soon be mine.

Some days you just get lucky.

That is great. I love deals like that on eBay.

And other days you wonder, how did I miss that deal?
Good haul!

I love Landsknecht Orcs.
Congratulations.
They are fun, and even more fun is making Snotling dioramas with the "ramage", whatever that is.

Let's hear a "Bwa ha ha!" for Neotacha!

Grats Neotacha. Heres hoping your cup of orcs runneth over.

Cheers

I was very impressed with her catch. Since we both like the figures, a certain amount of duplication is a Good Thing.

To be honest, I never came across such deals. Usually when I see a decent price there are like 87.7 people in a bidding war.

Just taken delivery of 60+ Star Trek novels and assorted books…. tey'll go nicely with the 70+ batch od Dr Who ones I got last year.

Works out at about 40p each.

I recently won the 1st edition 40k Compendium, Vehicle Manual and Battle Manual for £1.04. Not each, £1.04 GBP for all three.

Postage was quite expensive (understandable given that these are three fairly heavy books) but it still came to less than £10.00 GBP in total.

I love them too, although I bought them as a prerelease. They were expensive then, but cheaper than they are now.

I did buy a bunch of the other Kev Adams orcish miniatures in a lot on ebay for around $20. USD Haven't gotten around to painting them yet.

We have some others we got somewhere. I just need to dig out the orc and goblin boxes and find them. They've not yet been cataloged anyway, so it won't hurt to do that.

EBay is good for buyers, it sucks for sellers….

Neotacha17 May 2008 10:11 a.m. PST

I just realized it sucked even more for this seller than I'd thought. Got 22 of the orcs for my money. Lovely little guys; I may paint a couple this month (or rather, next month).

Found the others; we have 18 different orcsies. Now I have to figure out what holes need filling.

You lucky swine!

My current eBay success has been much less marked – Bid on a couple of Clicky Mech vehicles for cobnversion purposes, a scratchbuilt OGRE Cruise Missile Crawler ( Less tahn buying the parts and DIY) and a job lot of mixed GZG, Pendraken, Traveller and assorted starships for FT that cost less with postage than buying just the older GZG items themselves.

I won the two first ones, and am happy enough . . . But at the last minute, someone in the UK dropped a bid for £71, up from my £21.00 GBP Given the postage was also going to be £71.00 GBP it left me out of the running . . . Not sure wheher it was a keen bidder or just a nationalistic one, keeping those colonials in their place :)
