I posted a gallery of my pictures from this year's World Ice Art championships to my Displaced miniatures account. This year was a *very* cool event, although I got there a little late in the season and some of the more delicate sculptures were damaged by the warm weather. Also, for the record, I'd like to state that taking pictures of semi-transparent statues, baclkit with bright colored lights, outdoors, at night – is a pain in the butt! I took something like 150 pictures, and only 30 or so turned out at all. link Here's the full gallery: link And the official site of the event: icealaska.com |
