Doctors said the woman should not complain as the best way to tighten the skin and remove the wrinkles was to make her breasts bigger. Who can argue with German logic? |

Happened to Marge Simpson too. Interestingly, a study of clinically depressed women in Denmark was completely fouled up recently; The tentative conclusion from the data led researchers to conclude that over 90% of women who were in hospital programs had had breast enlargement surgery, so they were going to conclude that it was part of a body image problem casuing their mood. Then they realised with further investigation two things; One, that psychologists in a small number of cases had reccomended the surgery _after_ the women had come in with depression, and many of these had left with improved feelings afterwards. Two, and this was by far the larger number of cases, if you are already in a Danish hospital any elective/cosmetic procedure you can justify with the doctors is free of charge, an many women simply thought WTH. Probably healthier than long-term Prozac use, anyway . . . . |
