Every so often I get stupid and anoying comments from E-bayers. Since I just do not care I had to be jerk about it. Recently I had someone let me know I assembled a miniature incorrectly
my response being
.your point is? Why waste my time with a stupid comment. Where you even going to bid, does it matter? Does it look out of place? Rant over |

This weekend at Hot lead 2 young kids walked to our booth (RAFM) and asked if we had any 40k for sale. :) |

I do try to let sellers know if they have misidentified figures, or if they have admitted they don't know what they are. I don;t recall any who didn't appreciate the information. |

"This weekend at Hot lead 2 young kids walked to our booth (RAFM) and asked if we had any 40k for sale." They weren;t being stupid, simply showing they've been effectively indoctrinated: if miniatures are involved, it must be GW. I hope you took the time to explain to them the joys of Graeco-Bactrian phalangites

"I hope you took the time to explain to them the joys of Graeco-Bactrian phalangites
" That had better not be prison slang. |

I've never bought figures on ebay, but wouldn't the point be that they were trying to help you? Or try to make sure someone with little familiarity with a period or genre might not get something that's not correct? If someone was selling you a car with the incorrect tires, I would think you'd be appreciative if someone told the seller the wrong tires are on. Just my thoughts – of course, it's all in the way it's presented. Sounds like the person who wrote you did it in a doltish fashion. |

I just saw some nicely painted Samnites on eBay that the seller has misidentified as Sarmatians. I pondered the questions for a second and decided to mind my own business. Should I have pm'ed him to let him know? |

"I assembled a miniature incorrectly" You should have told them that you didn't assemble it incorrectly, you custom modified the minature. Now it's a one of a kind piece and worth far more then a standard assemblage of the minature
