Entirely too cool.

Works well for VSF if you put a smokestack on it.

Works well for SF if you cover it in smooth chrome.

Works well for *modern* campaigns, which is the scary part.

I love the bit where the guy gives it a kick. You almost feel sorry for the thing, the way it recovers like an actual animal.

Yeah I've seen that one before. I'm more interested in robots that can be used as weapons platforms.

Irish Marine,

Just think of this as the first step toward "mechas". :)

I think that once they make is quieter, the military will be all over this.

Sir James you are probably right that was the first thing I noticed its about as quiet as a chain saw. If they can make it quiet and of course keep the younger troops from kicking it and laughing all the time it will be a usefull piece of gear.

Makes me want to get into my landspeeder and break out the harpoon and tow cables. And you thought AT-ATs were dumb!

Keep mistreating them like that and they'll revolt!

Actually, the thing *IS* quieter. They apparently have access to a hydraulic compressor that has all the same specs, but is silent.

It just costs twenty-odd times as much. If you watch the portion of it with the hoses, you can see how quiet it actually is.
