"A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works." |

Yes, CNN is hyping this beyond belief. The next story will be that people swimming at the beach are actually swimming with whale poop. Trace amounts, mind you, but still whale poop! Don't Go Swimming! Especially around Commie whales. |

CNN should be hyping this story. It's been missing from mainstream knowledge for too long. All joking aside, flouride does count as a menace. Rather than helpful for your teeth, there's evidence to suggest it is actually quite harmful. Flouride is a byproduct of the nuclear industry. The whole reason it's put in the drinking water is that was the best use they could come up with to deal with the surplus. The US is virtually the only western country to do this. We have a reverse osmosis filter in our house. |

Parts of the UK have it too. link |

I've never seen that fluoride produced as a by-product of the nuclear industry is anything more than radioactive waste. To my knowledge most medical fluoride (in the USA) is derived as a by-product of the fertilzer industry. Mark

So all that flouride they put in toothpaste is a conspiracy by dentists?- I wouldn't put it past them. |

For all you fluoride is bad folks, you'll be happy to know that magnesium fluoride is the flocculating agent in your tofu. Plus, it's just all-around bad: link |
