>Although the controller is included, the robot hasn't been activated in years.

This definately sounds like a recipe for a rampaging disaster.

Gort may not have been activated, but it does not mean that he was not thinking. And brooding.

Now that there is talk of a remake it's a good time to sell.

Kinda pricey.. but with that
"$10 back with a new eBay MasterCard"
it becomes more affordable..

"General condition: Very good condition with minimal visible wear. Although the controller is included, the robot hasn’t been activated in years. It’s unknown if it’s in working condition."

He didn't _try_ the remote??

maybe it's like 'Dr Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine'…where one button you push makes her (the female bikini-bot), kiss you and the other one makes her KILL you…

and Gort's buttons are unmarked????? (that death ray puts a real crimp in a person's day….)

I grew up and still live in South Central PA. I can remember as a kid somebody constructed a robot looking statue out of HVAC duct materials. It was about 10 or 12 feet tall and stood right along Rt. 501 between Schaefferstown and Lititz. It has been gone for just a few years but it always reminded me of Gort. I often wondered if the movie was the inspiration for it.
