I found these tucked away in a drawer. I seem to remember buying them in about 1982-1984. Size is 25mm or 28mm.

Originally sold as packs of 3.

Thank you all very much. Especially Lowtardog for sorting out my current brain fart……

And Gherkin for pointing me in the direction of the originals.

I'm going to sell this set, as I can't see myself doing anything productive with them. I would prefer to see them to go to a home where they will be shooting it out on the streets, running illeagal alcohol, and setting up other such nefarious rackets, rather than just gathering dust and chips in a drawer.

Now – You won't often get a comment like that. Quite the opposite in fact.

I have a collection of these little guys, and am missing only two of the reputed three 'state troopers' (mountie hats). Does anyone reading this thread know if the other two missing poses actually exist ??

Chick, how many different poses have you managed to find?
I have 27, but no State Troopers, unfortunately.
These guys are a bit small compared to modern figs, but I really like the dynamic poses.

Do you have any more drawers with treasures tucked away in them?

Here's a link to most of the gangster range on the collecting citadel miniatures WIKI – it's missing the 2 state troopers so I guess they were either not released or extremely hard to get hold of………..

HansTrier and Dozing Dragon, THANKS for the wiki link. Maybe I've got 'em all after all. I'll count this evening and post how many different poses I have.

By the way, the wiki article seems to be missing the 'weapons' pack, of which I have some samples.

My understanding is that at one point these were offered in a set of 10 figures, which seem to be the ones which are very common nowadays. However, my informant for this 'fact' has recently seemed less than perfectly reliable.

Hi Chick – I have no idea on the weapon packs – if it's not on the WIKI I'm guessing it wasn't advertised (Citadel released a heck of a lot of stuff across their ranges that weren't catalogued). If you want to send me pic of any loose weapons you have I'll pop it on the WIKI (dave.sabs@ntlworld.com – we've traded in the past!). I have never picked up the Al Capone behind desk which I always wanted. I keep picking up interesting stuff from other ranges but never anything special from the Ganster! range.

Hi, Dave, great to hear from you again ! I have 33 poses if you count Al Capone, chair, and desk as three poses. Plus I have the weapons. I've got all of the poses on wiki plus two more poses which don't appear. I'll send you photos of those two, plus a photo of the weapons. You must be aware of the listings on Stuff of Legends, which include the weapons pack.

by the way, I have a spare Al and desk, but I'm hanging onto it for trade in case the other two state troopers DO exist !

Counted again, I have 34 poses if chair and desk are counted. If, as I believe but cannot prove, the State Troopers pack contained three copies of the same state trooper pose, I may have them all.

Photos sent to Dave Sabs.

Ive bagged mine up a bit wrong then. I have listed Baby Face Nelson with Bonnie & Clyde & CW Moss.

Machine Gun Kelly & Legs Diamond are in my other listing. However, I'm sure they will probably all end up going to the same home anyway.

I notice that later on, (1982) they were listed with generic names.

Bonnie becomes a regular MOLL and CW Moss becomes PUNK WITH SHOTGUN…. Ditto with Babyface Nelson, etc.
