I need to re plaster a deep crack in a party wall. Cause of crack now dealt with so now i make good. Can anyone tell me step by step how I should go about it. Starting with how to use plasterboard? Any help much appreciated.

On more piece of advice.
Don't try to do in 2 coats of spackle, what requires 3 (or even 4) coats…

Don't forget to let the coats fully cure/dry and to sand in between coats you will thank yourself in the end! Also – use the paper tape not the mesh tape unless you want to do more than 4 coats of mud!
