Come October my National Guard unit will be deployed to Iraq. Training is ramping up and things are getting busy. This will be my second deployment, my first was with the Air Force in 2002 when I was in Qatar. Sigh. Don't know where we're going in Iraq or our exact deployment date but this should be, interesting. |

As someone sitting on IRR, At least you can say you don't have to worry about the possibility of going anymore. Sometimes the wait is worse. Either way keep safe over there. |

Well my unit is of all things a laundry and bath unit,LOL. BUT! since most locations have that all contracted out we have been told we can expect to do SECURITY work. Hey, who is gonna take care of my online sales for my gaming rules? |

Good luck and a safe return. My son works on Tonka's and they are about to go to the Gulf for the 5th time (March 2003/4/5/6/7/8). They are also being deployed to Afghanistan this year. Things must be bad out there if they need fast movers. |
