Plano makes some nice plastic flip top containers you can get at Target or Lowes.

The Container Store also has all sorts of interesting containers as well.

What type of counters?

A lot of the ones we use in our group are perfectly sized to fit in poker chip dispensers. Works nice and easy since we sort them into the different stacks and you just grab what you need as you need them.

Plus if you decide to play a game of cards – you have an interesting change from the old standard poker chips.

How big are the counters? You could get floss storage boxes from craft stores, or you can hit the sports areas (or sporting goods stores) and pick up plastic tackle boxes or bait boxes.

Milhouse is right on. The Plano or "Bass Pro Shops" mini trays are great for status counters.

I have recently purchased a number of different types, and these are by far the best. Very lightweight and low-profile. Less than $2 USD each if you buy a pack of ten trays.

P.S. do NOT even consider the Chessex trays. They are cleverly designed with very-tight fitting "snap" closure lids which are cast in one piece with the trays, hinge along the side. These features add up to an unintended, extremely annoying, "auto-dump" feature which is very hard to avoid.

ChickLewis link is what I'm looking for…counter size…well these are about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch! Hope that helps. I'll have to look into Plano also…
tnx all

Wound up getting a set of bead sorting clear plastic, flip top, boxes at Michaels. The boxes from GMT were too shallow….I have tons of counters. These are nice I think.

tnx all for your help
