Heroscape: Road to the Forgotten Forest

It's a terrain expansion for Heroscape, but will non-Heroscape gamers be attracted by the trees?

My wife and I were watching an episode of Simon Schama's History of Britain. Near the end of the segment about Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite rebellions, Simon Schama displays a painting of Charlie that was popular after the end of the rebellion.

What the painting looks like is a swirl of colors on a canvas but when the portarit is laid flat, you place a reflective cylinder (such as a metal vase) at the foot of the paiting and in the reflection you see Charlie's portrait.

Does anyone have any idea what that style of painting is called and more importantly, if there are any links to available prints? My wife really got a kick out of it and I'd ike to try to get one for her as a Holiday gift.

Much thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure you're describing an anamorphic painting:

I don't know the specific one you're talking about but that link might help you track it down.

IIRC, I've seen that done on the edge of a book (not on the spine, but rather on one edge fo the pages).

Very cool stuff. I'd seen it in school, but had forgotten all about it:
