I was just being snarky with that link, and when I saw the rest of the website it came from, I got more than a little uncomfortable. Here's a better one: link |

link He must not have looked very hard. I suspect that any respectable tattoo parlor has a book on hand. |

I suppose Licensed would be better though it does seem very common place to have one these days (I do have some) Just tell him to avoid hands face neck and I would go so far as to say avoid the fore arm as peoples perceptions are still negative where tattoos are concerned |

I'd say that a Tramp stamp would be in order |

Maori tattoos are a symbol of courage and honour. First you get a wooden tool, create the wound (without anesthetic of course)and then blow charcoal into it. I will willingly give the title 'tough' to anyone who can handle that. My own tattoos are more simple, just markers for the radiotherapist to reference. I think I will stick with those. (and yes I have a strong negative attitude to tattoos). |

I was 25 before I had mine done and wanted it from the age of 15. Waited that long for 2 reasons 1) I hate any sort of needle and 2) to make sure I would not go off the idea, I'm 43 now and have never regretted it
Oh, and anyone who says it doesn't hurt is lying

I fell asleep whislt getting my first one done – around my nipple and going onto my sternum bone area. Mind you, my 3rd one did hurt and that was just the top of my left arm. Go figure! All mine are plain black tribal/celtic styles, and hidden out of view – chest, upper left arm – nearly shoulder, and then just below that one that wraps almost all the way around my arm completely. |

Have one on my spine, upper back that was a memorial piecee and to be honest I think cleaning it the first night hurt more than actually getting it. I would say it pinched a bit but never hurt. I have no regrets about getting it. |

I have 3 tattoo's. None are from standard flash, as they are all for personal reasons. 1 bike/car club tattoo, a music leg. which has a record label and jazz score reference. – This takes up my lower leg on one side, then my motorbike leg, which has one of my Dads old Speedway idols superimpossed over the box art for an old speedway game. I have nothing on areas that show in everyday life, and do not regret having them done 10-15 years ago. I still look at them and they bring back good memories. |
