*grumble grumble* Looks around for a torch. ;) That is a beautiful room, I am envious – I don't have room in our place to set up a nice wargaming room. Well
I do, but the Fiancee is rather fond of the dining room. ;) The cabinets are brilliant! |

Very nice
this too is in my plans for my "dream house"
Could you give some pointers and tips on construction of the Kitchen Units and the table?

Hi Murphy: if you ask you question on the blog James usually replies quickly. |

Ha! I received a "The website cannot display the page" message when I clicked on the link, so I am NOT jealous. (Ignorance is bliss, apparently). |

That's one of the nicest wargame rooms that I've ever seen. |

One of my wargaming mates in the Kapiti Fusiliers here in New Zealand has also recently built a new dedicated wargames room. Photos and article are in his blog, here: scottswargaming.blogspot.com |

I have my own room but I use it for storage and painting and play out in the living room. Maybe I will have to put some work into my room? David – Ace wardepot.blogspot.com |

I don't believe it. There are empty spaces on the bookshelves. Must be a hoax. |

Hi Murphey, I can't tell if your joking – kitchen units always have a story to tell. The units came in boxes without instructions! But it all slotted together OK though. I think the trick is to make sure that you get all of the units, lined up back to back (mine have a gap of about 2' between them – suitcase storage agreement with my wife), and dead parallel before you screw all the units together and put bracers over the gap. Definately put the table-top on dead last. BTW finish off the table edges with hard wood half round moulding – that way you don't snag your jumpers on the chip board. |

Alxbates, I've got a lot out on loan at the moment. Grin. |

The page loaded here at work. Looks nice! But waaaaay too tidy. I think our gaming room is probably about that size (maybe a tad bigger), but we have it a lot more crowded with stuff. Over-crowded, really – that last diplay case was probably a mistake
