This one is for our very own ex Coastguards man Lord BlueBottle. USCGC Dallas is shown with her original 5" gun mounting.

And that 5 incher put many a supply-loaded sampan on the bottom in Vietnam.

The Dallas crew pulled hundreds of people out of the drink as well, who might have died otherwise.
