picture Considering this sort of quality is a days work, there is no more excuses for crappy artwork in rulebooks. Dont forget one of the reasons GW is so popular is because their artwork sells the game. Quite pleased with the way this one turned out. Might post up the photo realistic version as well soon. |

Scurv, Looks nice but: What is making green reflect in the chrome bumper? Very clean/shiney/new looking for how I imagine post apocalypse. Do they still have car shows and car washing detail shops ater your apocalypse? Your guys have crap security or are way under-manned. Why else leave the weapons station un-crewed? I always viewed the post apocalypse world as pretty dangerous and would want an alert gunner up there at all times. But, from an art perspective, other than the green reflection it does look pretty cool. |

Nice Scurv, Perhaps the gunner is having a smoke? Or maybe he copped a bullet in the last firefight? |

Cool! There's something not quite right with the perspective, though; looks like the car's rising up out of the tarmac. |

the green reflection is bits of gore from squishing zombies that has since gone off in the hot outback sun. ;) Might muck about with the hue on that bit to make it look like road grime. As for a gunner I might pop one in once I fix any other flaws that come to light. Another being I should of used a flatter perspective with the landscape as I was kneeling down when I shot the pic of the car. And its meant to be shiny, as its for the car wars universe where they do have shiny cars with guns. picture was actualyl inspired by that image. |

luckily the perspective is an easy fix. only knows why I didnt pick that up sooner as I have spent 2 days looking at the ing thing while making a vid tute of it so anyone can produce this sort of image. |

Zombie goo in the hot outback sun probably explains the lack of gunner too. The stink is keeping him inside the air-conditioned hot rod

If you do pop in a gunner, since this a car wars/shiney show car, might as well make it a hot bikini clad lady like they use to pose along the hot rods at car shows. |

the real reason was the car was parked on grass when I took the shot. Because those carboys love their shiny paint and crome it picked up the hue from the grass. Im pretty sure I knocked out the people reflected in the paint work though. |

How about some leather clad chick insted. Maybe even a goth girl. :) |

Nice stuff Scurv, I approve! |

Reminds me of one of my favorite computer games from years past "Roadwar USA and ROadwar Europa" very nice artwork. |

Im a bit miffed no one has noticed the little captain haddock I popped on the paint work. (the finished image is a cover for some rules Im sending to polynikes so I thought he would enjoy that little touch. Was thinking of adding zardoz in there somewhere as well seeing as he was the one that inflicted that abortion upon us. Maybe zardoz as a gunner.) |

Ah, now I see the Captain Haddock :) It's the blue Captain on a blue car that makes it tricky to spot. As for the green, yould you not just drop the colour saturation, or contrast, or whatever, just on the bumper, to grey it down a bit? |
| mattblackgod | 20 Oct 2007 8:26 a.m. PST |
LOL! I see the Captn! Goth Girl gunner – definatley! |

picture this version has the perspective fixed. Thanks to those that pointed that out. This is also the photorealistic version which is much better for seeing all the nice touches. (the skulls on the windscreen armour are my face bits. Total to pull off but well worth the effort.) |

Yeah, that looks the business. If you can tweak the colour of the bumper to match the road, it'll be d@mn near perfect. |
| CPT Jake | 20 Oct 2007 9:32 a.m. PST |
Scurv, you need to polish up the gunner's armor plate to match the rest of the car. If their going to keep it shiney and polished their going to do it right. |

Very nice. It would be useful in Austin traffic. |

The armoured bits all came from photos of modified hummers sent to me by a fine TMP'er. (Thanks 74SFintell!) I could make it shiny but that would mess with the jury rigged look of the fighting box. Thinking I might work the bumper/grill area into a metalic shark toothed mouth though. Maybe make the headlights into eyes as well. |
